I'll Find Him

Ever since the Raggedy Doctor crash landed into her life a year ago, Amelia Pond made a promise to herself. Even though he had let her down when he said he would only be 5 minutes, she vowed she would find him someday.

The mad man who ate fish custard and who fixed the crack in her wall had changed her life for the better. He taught her that life could be exciting and full of adventure and that it could also be fun instead of boring. She wanted to travel with him in the blue box that he said was a time machine. It would be better living that life than the one she was living in now. A life where she has no parents, a life where she has only 2 friends, Mels and Rory. And a life where no one believed that the Raggedy Doctor is real.

So thats why on that cool Spring Night, Amelia was looking up at the dark star covered sky, hoping that the blue box would come and get her. But as always, it never came. Even though she had looked up at the sky every night from her garden for a whole year, he never came for her.

But Amelia would never give up. As she turned to go back into her house, she once again looked up at the sky.

"I'll find him. Even if it takes the rest of my life, I will find him. The man who turned my world upside down."

With a sigh, little Amelia went into her house not knowing that in 11 years time, her dream would come true.

Whovians Who Tweet Together Stick Together

I was on Twitter tonight and I was horrified to learn that a Doctor Who fan was receiving hate and deleted her account. She has now restored her account as almost every Whovian showed her love and support by trending that she should come back to Twitter.

I honestly don't know who could be so horrible. There should be no hate between people especially people who share their love for the same thing, Doctor Who. People only hate on other people when they are trying to get attention or feel better about themselves. They want to try and get people to react to them so they don't feel ignored. We shouldn't let it get us down.

I think what us Whovians did tonight was very special. We all banded together and showed no one should mess with us. We shouldn't have to take such hate. We should just ignore it and stick up for eachother. That is what true Whovians do. I am so glad she restored her account. She really didn't deserve the hate she got.

Remember, Whovians who tweet together stick together.

The Wedding Video Review

I went to see The Wedding Video with  my friend today. I was a bit apprehensive about it at first as I heard it only got a 3 out of 5. But it is one of the funniest films I have seen in a long time. Without giving any spoilers, I will tell you a bit about the plot. The Wedding Video stars Celebrity Juice star as Raife Moyle, Hot Fuzz and St Trinians star Lucy Punch as Saskia Dutton, Tim's fiancee and Great Movie Mistakes presenter Robert Webb as Tim Moyle, Raife's brother and Saskia's fiancee. I wonder if he found any mistakes in this movie? ;)

Anyway, allons-y on with the review :) The Wedding Video is about traveller Raife coming home to be his brother Tim's best man. Raife decides to make a wedding video for Tim and Saskia as a wedding present. And let's just say, what a wedding video he makes :) It is full of laughs, blunders and pre-wedding jitters and even the odd weird moment (or two).

My favourite part of The Wedding Video was definately the relationship between Raife and Tim. Even though they were brothers, you could never meet anyone so different. They were like chalk and cheese but somehow their relationship worked. And I loved it.

Now comes the bits of the movie I didn't like. And to be honest, there wasn't that many bits I didn't like. I felt sometimes the movie was a bit rushed and I felt some of the gags were repeated in places. But apart from that, I feel the pros exterminate the cons.

I'd give this movie 9 out of 10 and I would recommend anyone to see it (except younger children as it does contain swearing and nudity.)

Whovian Friends, I Salute You!

I would like to say a personal thank you to all my Whovian friends who follow me on Twitter. You guys are so awesome and I love talking to you all. We all have a laugh talking together about Doctor Who and I love it. I feel I can only talk about Doctor Who with you guys as we are all fans of it. You all cheer me up so much and I hope we'll still be talking in years to come.
